Someone likes the new shirt seemingly. Derek has requested that PPS Design & Build step aside as main shirt sponsors and they have agreed to sponsor the training kit instead. The new sponsor (yet to be announced) has offered a six figure sum for each of the next two seasons. You don't get many shirt deals like that in RL, do you? Other fans may be laughing but Leigh fans have serious cause to smile.

Strangely enough Bongser had joked that Anusol would be sponsoring the leopard's backside.

Rather be a Leigh Leopard than a Wigan Cheetah, if that last word is the correct spelling.

From the ashes of ridicule comes triumph: a Great British success story......and of course it gave me a lot of pleasure as well. Go well next season....but not in those shirts eh the ‘ferocious and attractive’ leopard (allegedly) may scare the kids!

Rumour has it (I just started it) that the new sponsor is Totally Inept Training Solutions based in Atherton. A little bird has told me the logo will incorporate the initials of their name as in house design team has concluded the full name is not aesthetically pleasing. What could go wrong. Happy Days.

IIRC the one at Broxbourne had plenty of what amounted to decking in the viewing gallery. And now I think about it there was a guy skulking about in a leopard skin hoodie with a laptop under one arm and a ‘teach yourself graphic design in two easy steps’ hand book. This may be unconnected with recent developments though.

My last words on the subject are that whilst there is little to hide the fact that this was an inept and comical execution of a rebrand I do note on the Leigh site that Leythet14 has come up with a number of simple and sensible suggestions on how to improve the end product. I also understand the c***k and balls have been removed from the head of the Jaguar/Leopard logo. Now onto the mundanity that is the Broncos underwhelming 2023 recruitment process.
