Starting 13 picks itself, as do 2 of the subs (Trout and Pene). So 2 places available and Hardaker, Dwyer, Davis, Hughes and Holmes to pick from. Can't see Brand featuring in the 18.

Agree with the starting 13 as you say. My 2 places to fill the subs, would be Holmes & Dwyer.

Hughes before Holmes all day long for me, and yes with Dwyer but wouldn’t be surprised to see Davis stand in hooker for when ipape covers 13 when Asiata takes one if his breathers

Agree it would be Hughes that I'd pick as well. Covered prop, second row, stand off and centre this season. Always useful to have somebody that versatile on the bench.

If we had 2 or 3 points extra in the league, we would probably rest O'Donnell and give Holmes a run out, but can't afford to take any chances

Well looks like we’re going to be missing Asiata again, another real brain fart of a challenge, a nothing tackle but so late (in fact westerman never even took the ball) it could have been a HKR player :D

The Asiata sin bin was really irritating, especially given he's just come back from a ban. If his tackle technique involves him not actually knowing whether he's tackling the man with the ball, then he needs to change it.

Frustrating as I can't see us breaking down the HKR defence without him, and he'll be banned again.

Asiata tackled a dummy runner around the legs. I don't think it deserved even a penalty. The yellow card was harsh and personally I don’t think it deserves a charge.

Trouble is, he didn't know it was a dummy runner because he wasn't looking at what he was doing.
