Look we have had the measure of HKR for a while of course they will raise their game to get a win against us. My point being we know we can beat them and I prefer our run to the end of the season. I still fancy us for top 2.

The HKR team with quite a large number of recycled players came to do a job. For 80 minutes we were up against it from front foot rugby in attack & defence. A proper game of rugby & most enjoyable in my opinion. Ok, we didn't win but we live to fight again next week.

If King was fit to play then that was a pretty poor decision not to bring him back into to the team for a game like that. His yardage carries alone are vitally important, especially in games like that tonight.

I appreciate Lindop scored a nice try against Wigan and will no doubt do on to be a top centre himself, but if King is fit he has to play…

This is true.

However, we've had a couple (His Bobness and Eaststander) who were complimentary before and after the game

He is also very good under the high ball and has scored a fair few tries from kicks into the in goal area. How many KR kicks could he have defused ? If he was fit then I would agree it was an error from Burgess to omit him. Lindop could have easily been picked for the London game instead.

Most people were dead set against dropping Lindop after the last couple weeks. All about 'Making sure nobody walks back into the team after being out'. Now with the benefit of hindsight its the opposite lol.

I must admit I wanted to him to keep his place based on his form. He wasn't the reason we lost against Hull KR though I don't think although he was exposed defensively at times.
