This is so funny. We hold every trophy simultaneously, you beat us the week after lowly Hull put us to the sword and you're suddenly Grand final winners. You hayseeds will apparently never learn that a win mid season against a team going through a trough means absolutely nothing. This poop happens all the time. It happens to us every season. We beat you at Wembley when it actually mattered. We will beat you the next time it actually matters.

Your season peaked when you beat us, well done. But you are the gimps, the also rans, the never weres. You are a comedy sketch. You will always spend up to the cap, and you will always be the bridesmaids (at best). John Bateman lol

It's really nice to see children joining in on the forum now a days, nice mix of youth and senior now ha ha

Not gonna cry about that, KR are a class squad, the energy and effort from them was superb.
Learn some lessons and and get Harrison, Fitz, King and Philbin back in the mix and we're looking good.
Rest a couple of bodies next week and push for the rest of the season.
Ref's were pretty poor tonight but it is what it is.
Still not convinced we needed bateman but will see how he gets on over the next few games :-)

we've played 5/10 effort for the last 4 weeks and got wins (just), tonight we really played the best we could in defence, credit to wire i really think it will be both of us in the final 2

Sorry but tonight was the same old, same old. We can’t exist unless being an underdog. It is getting boring after 50 years.

In most games this season i’ve always thought we were in with a shout with this current team with their different mindset. However last night i never thought we had it in us to claw it back and win. This also happened in the CC final at Wembley. Perhaps it shows us really where we are. I mean, we beat Saints & Wigan so it was always going to be a tough ask to be KR as well. But without degrading those last two wins we beat a poor Saints side that haven’t won in ages and played Wigan when they have hit a bump in their season. Like i say, take nothing away from the boys but we played both of them at the perfect time. Then we play KR who are flying at the moment and unlike Wigan & Saints, they came with a game plan and shut down Williams all night. They also closed us down quickly and you could see they were up for it more than us.
It seems we can beat anybody on our day but when a team comes with a decent game plan we still struggle similar to the CC final. We need to realise that we are a good team and im over the moon about how its gone so far this season but talk of GF contenders to me is still a bit off. I think we will be there or there abouts come the playoffs but still lots of work to do.
Player wise i thought Currie was poor early on. Williams, as stated about was shut down all night therefore made a ton of errors and poor last tackle plays.
Walker frustrates me as he does some great things but also costly brain farts at vital moments.
Thought Ashton was great.

Two games against St’s and Wigan before playing a high flying very good Kr, Wire were up against before a ball had been thrown. Fatigue has to be considered in this defeat and Kr were just wanting it a little more. Credit to Peters and the coaching team, Kr are playing some good rugby league and got their tactics spot ion last night. Wire could y deal with the near the line short kicks, that could be a concern come play offs.. Tough run of fixtures coming up for Kr, which well tell us more about their title credentials. As for Wire, we go again and am sure Burgess will be gearing up now for top two finish.

Really good summary, I won't bother posting as you have said it all here.

Congrats on winning the "top for 6 days mid season" trophy.

Bateman was awesome (not). Has the HJ become the new home for overpaid NRL failures?

And what a long six days it must have been judging by the reaction on here after the defeat. Poor lot have clearly been smarting.
