Slightly off-topic, but Williams has been given the England captaincy in the absence of Tomkins. Wane obviously has some faith in him. Hopefully will do his confidence a bit of good as well as motivating him to take a bit more of an on-field leader role for us next year.

You can watch Brandon Wakeham tonight on our league.com. If there’s any truth in the rumour. At least he’ll be under no illusions about the weather over here, if he does eventually sign.

I take exception with these signings, if true. Wigan almost always have a “first refusal” option for those that go to the NRL, so either they don’t want him (red flag, if they have taken King) or we have paid enough to make the club attractive.
