RL is an inclusive sport with no place for discrimination of any kind. Homophones are therefore unwelcome on these forums! :D

You've lost me there, as there's no intent from me to be offensive? Kindly explain if I've unintentionally put my foot in it.

The word metal was referring to the misspelling of the word steal.

It was just a bit of friendly banter between posters on here.

Ahh. So it is.
A dozen posts and 48hrs later I get it.
There some minutes I took from some forum users day. Those who wrote it and those who read it.
It’s going to be a long preseason I think, and I’m already up in the joke on the Duck race.

I’ll get my steak on before the odds drop. 8/1.

Fully understood and participated in, BH.

MPN, a "homophone" is a word that sounds like another but is spelled differently! The word "homophone" is only one letter different from the name of a certain type of bigot. Bongser's little pun.
No, in no way have you offended.

I hate the off season!

With the way our season went, the off-season is far more relaxing for me.

To get the thread back to betting!, does anyone know any sites that have the man of Steel odds up? Can't find them on skybet or hills and fancy a bet on Williams if I can get somewhere about 16/1.

Apologies B&B, I should take more care in reading posts.

....and apologies right back for any perturbation caused to you :thumb: .

It is however sad that good people are so terrified of inadvertently giving offence to the vocal minority that loves to find offence in everything. This country needs a dashed good shake.

So getting back on thread, sorry Moe, no 2023 Man of Steel odds found by this party either!
