Oliver Holmes : Mon Sep 26, 2022 4:01 pm
Rumours he’s been told he’s free to look for another club. Any of you guys heard anything on this?

Great news, he's been abysmal all season. God knows why Powell brought him here.

Based on limited viewing admittedly, I thought Holmes was going to do well and I was looking forward to having him here and could completely understand why Powell brought him over.

I've no idea why it didn't work, mind you it's hardly worked for his boss, but probably best all round if the reports are true.

Signed for Warrington, and became more interested in his hairline and beard.

Also seemed to have lost a fair bit of size.

Terrible signing.

Not that we’re short of a bob or two, but if Holmes and Bullock are to leave it will no doubt mean us supplementing their salaries as it’s hugely unlikely they will get contracts of the same value after this year. Doesn’t impact our salary cap obviously, but expensive mistakes none the less.

Hopefully he pisses back off to Cas with his new best mate Widdop or goes on Love Island, anything other than playing for us again.

Hard to say why it hasn't worked out, but the fact rhat one of Powell's most loyal, first choice generals couldn't rally to his mentors rallying cry is a pretty damning assessment of the season, and Powell's abilities.

I knew it would go pear shaped when he blubbed in his last Cas game, the snowflake.
