So why did we get shot of him, only thing I had heard was he was a bit happy about spending money. If that’s the case Fitzpatrick seems to have wasted a lot.

he would be a great appointment then, and possibly even a better appointment as RFL Chief Commercial Officer and Super League Executive Director,

Comparing Draper to KissKam as a CEO is akin to comparing a BMW to a Ford. You get what you pay for…..

So if KFP says Powell has six games, he’ll need to qualify that. Is it six wins? Six solid performances? Sounds like a throwaway quip to satisfy the masses. Not very professional. The best reply would have been to quietly smile while showing some empathy, and apologise for not being able to discuss club matters.

Maybe it’s best to leave former players to other roles in the business, such as player management. Making statements like that in public just defers blame and puts more pressure on the team.

A new more cartoony wolf badge. Superleague got a new S logo as well when he was with them. Top drawer performance that. I'm sure he did plenty of other things well.

The same 3-year Warranty. We just couldn't afford the servicing.

Indeed. I'm led to believe that was a rather expensive exercise. Lots of money on branding consultation and little to show for it. Maybe he did more work with top-line potential sponsors, who knows?

Was he involved with the Emirates shirt deal? That was great work to be fair, although the team and club was a lot more marketable back then. Get the team performances right and the crowds and sponsorship opportunities will follow (note the team we had playing in the bensons for beds kits does go against this statement). The CEO has a much easier job if he has a successful team as a backdrop to all of their dealings.
