There have been improvements, not an awful lot; that could be attributed to the player turnround. But these collapses are a big concern and are a bit of a head scratcher at this stage. I would have expected us/liked us to have pressed on in that second half with some confidence given the 12 point cushion. I'm hoping that next season with a leader on the pitch such as Mcguire, that these occurrences won't happen. There are no leaders in our side with enough confidence to give the players a rollicking/gee up, and we desperately need that.
Someone else has mentioned the need for a proper directional scrum half - I think this would help too - though I'm not entirely sure who's available/suitable.
I'm still backing Powell but it's not easy after another collapse last night. There is a good coach in there, but we don't seem to be seeing much of it yet.
