I came across this article on LinkedIn from a CEO who got the chance to attend Warrington's pre-season camp. It's mostly about the lessons business can take from sport, but it gives some great insight into how the club works. I have to say, it paints a really impressive and professional picture of how the club is working at the moment. Hope you enjoy!

This is worth reading. Just skimmed it so far but will have a proper look. UPDATE Read it again ... Wow!
I said ‘wow’ when I got to the end as well but probably for very different reasons. What a load of bottom gravy.
I liked to see the view of a relative outsider's view of the Trip. It is not how I spend my time in Tenerife. He was obviously impressed. I'm sure our rivals work at the same level.
Far too much time on his hands.
Ended up scrolling down and then leaving.
I see that a certain 'Tony Smith' thought it was "well written and insightful"
To many words for my liking
It all got a bit 'David Brent' really.

He's lost in his CEO world where he expects employed staff (with no equity or skin in the game) to care as much about the business as the founder. It's narcissistic and never going to happen.

Vast majority of employees just want to get through the day, get paid, and get home to their lives and freedom of their own time. If they can enjoy some of the working day - then all the better. Some employees want to strive a bit and get promoted and get more pay, but at the end of the day, take away the payment and all employees stop working (rightly).

That's a very different dynamic to a pro sports team.
I imagine he got on like a house on fire with KFP.
