Was Kendal himself sat on the third panel ? How big was Mc Anus's brown envelope ? wow Rugby League the sport that just keeps on giving.

In other news the cowards chicken wing is now legal.
The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

After the embarrassment with Bateman now this. What a joke the administration of RL is. The sports fked and what a hollow victory for saints should they win.

In the week of the grand final suddenly you can appeal a ban twice. Fk off.

Something needs to be done with the RFL now

They aren't fit for purpose

Season has been a farce due to ridiculous bans for nothing

Now getting nothing for far worse !!

Changing the rules to make sure players play in a final is not fair, this must be sorted out.

Do we really want loads of players banned from finals? Is that the right idea?

I don't think any player has ever been banned from a Grand Final. That maybe puts it into perspective? The fact that more than half the team were mentioned shows that the MRP are overreaching doesn't it? They are re-refereeing the games and effectively dismissing the opinions of the on field and video referees. If a referee sees the incident and the video referee reviews it, what added value is there in a non-referee reviewing it afterwards when the referees are the arbitrators of the rules? The hysteria around it has been silly. The three worst tackles in the game were arguably by Salford. Two by Elijah Taylor, one of which was a blatant shoulder charge with no wrap which knocked his own player out. The high shot by Sneyd on Lomax and the twist of his neck was also an interesting one to completely ignore.

Had Salford won the game, no one would have even mentioned the Knowles incident had it not been banned. People just saw a chance to weaken Saints and desperately clung to it.

The MRP needs to be worked on. They are there to grade the punishments, not forensically re-referee the games to try to find minor breaches. The overzealousness they've had has left the fanbase in a frenzy after each games and as one of the journalists on Twitter said, they could probably sell more tickets for the disciplinary hearings than the matches themselves. This week has seen mass hysteria over two decisions. Both of them were the right decisions in the end, but the lessons are there to be learned.

The RFL Disciplinary System is now officially corrupt.

I don't come on here much anymore, due to other things taking over my life of late. That was a clear chicken wing , no argument and its no good quoting other players doing differing alledged offences at the match, it does not prove anything in regard to this case. I watched on Saturday as he was not red carded, amazed nothign to do with it being Saints I have not a problem with them , quite the reverse. The decision has at a stroke destroyed the credablity of the sport, its rules and traditions, how we all stood as one to defend the game against the bigger boys and these jokers do this.

I now able to attend more matches since my wife passed away, I was planning on taking in a lot of the world cup even got final tickets and a weekend away booked. Well I cancelled them all tonight and I am appalled as to how far this game as sunk, its a joke, a laughing stock. The game is not only bankrupt its now morally bankrupt as well, I can find nothing within the rules that allow two appeals and I suspect no one else will either.

I have cancelled Sky for good and told them why as well, thats it for me, done with it

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

You've cancelled World Cup final tickets and a weekend away, Sky and your support of the sport of Rugby League because a St Helens player was given the correct outcome to a disciplinary decision after an appeal? That's spectacular. There is definitely room for improvement and this whole situation should not have happened, but hopefully this is the catalyst for change in that department.

The reaction after the semi final was hysterical. I know a lot of people want Saints to lose at all costs. Maybe if Leeds win you'll reconsider your support of the sport and your planned trip?

You can try gloss over the fact that an entirely new appeals process has been invented a week before the grand final all you want but that's the issue here now. It's a disgrace.
