Decent enough crowd , better than Our start against Huddersfield back in 2005 , sounded an exciting match as well

Find that hard to believe as I received e-mail from the Crusaders offering me complimentary tickets

That said, it's a very respectable crowd indeed and a great base to build from - hope they can maintain such levels of support and I sincerely wish them the very best of luck.

so-so crowd really, especially if reports are true that we took about a thousand.

can't understand why the RFL decided to have their home debut 3 games in though, what little buzz there was has died down somewhat after 2 away defeats.

I agree, their first game should have been at home, either to a very well supported side like Saints or Leeds or to an easy beat like Warrington or Wigan so they could start with a nice easy win.

I dunno, i'd say its a decent base to build on. 4500 home fans for the first game, 3 years of improvement, gettin more into the community and more opportunities to show the Union loving taffs the error of their ways - could easily improve on that with enough hard work.
