Huge two points. With Fev & Widnes losing, that gives us some breathing space between those below us and allows us to firmly set our sights on Toulouse now. Hopefully Doro isn't too serious, otherwise I was going to say if feels different to last year where we were selecting whoever was fit and down to ourost 4 props, whereas this year we look to be getting everyone for and ready for the crunch part of the season.

Great win today.

Anyone know why Souter wasn't in the squad this week?

No, but he & Nobby had a deep & meaningful chat pre-match on the pitch before the warm-up. So - dropped? rested? minor niggle? Bit of all 3?

Has his form been that bad? By the sound of it, he really looked the part early on!

On the game, sounded like we went and got the job done. Just what we've all been calling for after some of our more questionable results.

I also thought it was good we finished strongly. This suggests the fitness levels and freshness in the squad at at good levels, which will be a huge positive come the play-offs.

It would be really nice to finisg the best of the rest and secure second wouldn't it!

Ott's been getting more game time of late and has been doing well. If I've got a criticism of Souter it's that he does give away the odd penalty. Souter's played a lot of minutes so maybe this is part of the plan to have him freshened up a bit. Hooker is the toughest position on the field fitness wise so it makes sense to share the burden.

I doubt Souters been dropped. Maybe they've been happy with Otts form, decided to go with 4 big men on the bench and give Souter a bit more time off with the minutes limit in mind.
