I was rather shocked when I just looked to see I've been on this site since 2005

At every stage of those 17 years, there has been a whole string of posters claiming to be "in the know."

A few actually DID know, but the majority have known little or nothing beyond what is commonly known by anyone with an eye on Twitter and other media.

I guess its one of those things that quite a lot of people probably do have personal relationships with those employed by the club. Officials, staff and players are all pretty normal folk and will no doubt air their opinions like any other work place, so I can quite believe when people claim to be "in the know", but most of it is not going to be the exclusive that many believe it to be.

To be fair most people that are involved in rugby league (either playing or coaching) will know bits and bats. It’s a small sport and the people involved aren’t exactly celebs like Ronaldo/Messi. Like the above poster says, there’s many personal relationships in RL. There’s probably one or two on here that are actually close enough to get ‘inside scoops’ though.

Got to admit I really like the look of the PNG winger Ngutnik? Should inquire about him!

I agree, he's like another volcano.

I fondly remember the great George Ambrum who destroyed everything in his path when playing for us in the late '60's.Sadly he died at the age of 46 in NSW following a game of touch football. Gerald Cordie was quite a handful also in the late '80's..

Update from the fans forum.
2 players who played in the world cup 1/4 finals are just about done deals. (Taumalolo and Yeo hopefully!!)

2 more from a SL club should also be completed shortly as well
