Hooley & Ruan have Officially signed for next season I believe they are waiting til Batley & Doncaster seasons too Officially be finished this year before being announced so our 2023 signings are up to 5 with:

There's something very amiss if that's true about the cap - i.e. its been managed about as badly as possible. Even with our full squad before departures there must be some players earning way more than they're worth if we are spending the same as Sts, as in a player-by-player matchup they are stronger in the majority of positions (I'd make it about 9 out of 13 at full strength, possibly more).

For what its worth I suspect we're not as close to the cap as GH is trying to make out. It makes good sense to hose down the expectations of incoming players. We're certainly not in the Golden Generation era where we could perhaps pay less than market value, but given where we're at now there's no reason to pay overs or sign anyone too long any more.

If that's the case then what's the plan around who's playing centre?

How on earth are we up to the cap with all the senior players leaving compared to the relatively inexperienced incoming so far?

Me too. Think Walker getting injured at Hull (always a risk) has put a fly in the ointment. Sounds like GH is really keen on keeping Zack.

Walker wasn’t involved in any of the GF stuff from what i can see on SM so maybe reading too much into it but he seems in the ‘outer’ so to speak
