Fully agree. No doubt we have had to upgrade some of our younger players, but the total of that can’t be more than say Dwyers wage. Where has the rest gone? We must be paying Fusitua some wedge as it’s all on us this year apparently.

They'll be some of the players in the squad who'll be getting a pay increase, plus don't we have to pay Fusi's full salary for next season?

What are the plans for that centre spot then as from Rohan smiths words it sounds like that's recruitment done til someone leaves.

I thought he was just talking about Hardaker. If we are at the cap with Briscoe, Dwyer, Thompson, Sutcliffe, Mellor and Mustapha leaving and a couple of Championship replacements plus Sangare then GH should hang his head in shame. I cannot see us not signing a centre, and I think some of this is about reinforcing the fact Leeds have probably made a final offer to Hardaker.

On the bright side Sangare scored a belting props try against Tonga. Straight through the middle from 10 yards out . Big, athletic, and powerful.

Hard to guess. With Newman out at the start of next season, we would start with no centres if Zak not signed.

I would guess Martin would play right centre. Rather than play another back rower at left centre, I’d probably play Handley there with Tindall outside him.

The squad would look wafer thin.

Isn't McDonnell supposed to be able to play in the centres? Doubt he was signed to be first choice there mind you...

Hopefully he will be fit. Big op, fingers crossed he stays fit next year he would make a massive difference.
