So did Brisbane. That’s gonna hurt for a long time……
Think the self belief from being champions took them through….
Cleary was immense….

Fantastic game and yes Brisbane were already collecting the trophy.
Cleary ran that game on his own when it was needed.
Never thought they would win it from 24-8 down.

Probably best game I’ve seen in many many years that today. Absolutely world class by both sides. Cleary.. wow, he’s got to be up there with the all time greats of the game.

Brisbane will be a top side for years to come if they can stick together, they’re only young. Ezra Mam is a player I’d love to see for Leeds in the halves… we can only dream

Leniu banned for 8 games. Think bit harsh, given context…..

Harsh? Why

He’s been upfront and honest throughout. Very stupid but genuinely don’t think was meant as racial slur in the heat of the moment. He is not a white Australian himself!

I also think insisting he spend a month with a native tribe , to learn the history, cultures, discrimination they still endure would be more appropriate……

As he is a NRL player, banning him from playing NRL is the most direct way to show him that what he does wrong will have an impact on being able to do his role that I presume he wants to do.

Education would be a great 'additional idea' but that alone might not create a more direct 'cause and punishment' link for him.

He does seem to be too impulsive and lacks the ability to think first quite a lot though. Didn't he have that dig at a load of Roosters last year while at the Panthers - not thinking on that he was going to be working alongside them a few months later...

Josh Addo Carr knocked clean out after Latrell Mitchell collision. Looked brutal, but not intentional to me. This game is so tough to play………
