Wakey couldnt score against 11 Salford players, I'd be massively shocked if we lost.

Happy to be educated.....I haven't seen a match in person this year so I shall reserve judgement. On the radio "another Leeds handling error", "knocked forward", "tackled into touch", "another incomplete Leeds set". Why? Over-ambitious off-loading or players not good enough?

Very few are from over ambitious play. Lots of pretty basic mistakes, so I’d say players not good enough.
From last year we have lost Leeming, Prior, hardaker, Briscoe, Dwyer and Sutcliffe.
The players brought in McDonnell and MacDonald have been pretty good. Sangare, Lisone have made small contributions but the others have added nothing at this level and some been very poor.
So at this time I think the playing quality, to actually positively contribute at SL level has gone backwards which is a big problem.

My fear for Smith is that players many on here viewed as deadwood have been replaced by worse.

Wakey will be up for it and likely make easy metres which will encourage them into the game .

Should be dry and sunny so we need to complete high and hope their poor attacking play continues.

To think anything other than a comprehensive win against a team that hasn't won a single game is even being mentioned is preposterous we got to the Gf last year ffs I don't want to hear anymore cheap talk from Rs time to start delivering!

I think if let them get a few quick scores in and let them march us down the field every set it will be a much harder game than it should be

I can really see us losing this.
This is the ideal game for Wakey and a nightmare game for us.
Like it or not, we are one of the bottom 4 teams in the league.
We've lost twice to Cas, who are dreadful.
And we have a boat load of injuries.
I really fear the worst.
Obviously hope I'm wrong.

With 13 games left, we are 3 wins outside the playoffs. That means to catch Wigan and Saints we have to win 3 more than them over 13 games. It’s not going to happen. Salford and Leigh are 4 wins ahead of us.

This season is yet another of serious underachievement and disappointment.

Pretty much agree. It'd take something similar to last season's finish which was pretty miraculous to even manage the once. Do it twice and you'd have to think we're the real deal despite all the current evidence. Do I see it happening? Heart says yes...

Super League clubs just do not have the squad strength in depth to cover for serious injuries to key players beyond a point. We are past that point and you cannot just judge results based on what you think we should be doing when we have Tetevano, Lisone, Holroyd, Newman, Fusitu’a etc all injured
