Waffling sh!te about Peppa Pig World to the countries leading business bodies last week and out with the boys in blue today telling us about how tough he's gonna be with a drugs crackdown.
How do the Tory-Boys on here actually take this clown seriously?
It's way beyond me.

Sadly for you its not just those on here and more worryingly his ratings still outshine the drab sod that purports to lead Labour.

Bexley byelection: “Stephanie, a hairdresser, has always voted Conservative and will probably do so again on Thursday, although she called Johnson an ‘idiot’.”

As opposed to South Wales where Labour put a cow painted red and it gets in by a landslide!!

I think the point was not about safe seats generally but that the voter knows Johnson is a fool and still votes for him/his party.

The point is Johnson is really poor but he is still a better option than anything he is up against?

Intellectually he is on a different planet to Starmer - but he is not fit to be the PM. I know which of the two I would rather back

If you think Starmer is "not fit" to be PM then there really is no hope for you beyond blind partisanship.
You can disagree with his policies, as do I, but his career, intelligence and experience make him eminently qualified as a Prime Minister.

What life experience does Starmer have outside of the legal profession - at least Boris did run a big city he has a far broader experience platform. Whether you deem him fit/qualified is one thing would he be capable that's a different question.

He single-handedly cost Labour a big chunk of votes at the last GE with his position on Brexit - Labour went in to the GE on the back of his policy?

In fairness that could also apply to Labour voters who voted for Foot Kinnock Corbyn and this fella Starmer, who maybe an excellent QC but does not come across as being able to run the country or mix it with world leaders.

Or even keep his No 2 informed on issues or decisions. He is hopeless.

So there you go again, that's a policy reason.

If you think a QC, Director of Public Prosecutions, working class background, senior shadow cabinet posts and leader of the Labour party doesn't give someone the background to be Prime Minister then I can only assume you will only accept Prime Ministers from the current government due to them holding the ministerial positions for the past decade. How convenient. Unfortunatley, as has been demonstrated over and over, it is hardly the Cabinet of all the Talents.
