Super League South

Post by George Macpherson » Sun Jun 06, 2021 7:44 pm

As of this year we will have a new league called Super League South. This was done to have a parallel to the existing Women's Super League instead of expanding the one in the North. Originally it was supposed to start last year but was delayed by a year due to covid. It consists of six teams in two conferences. In the West you have Gold Ferns, Cardiff Demons and Cornish Rebels. Meanwhile in the East you have London Broncos, Bedford Tigers and British Army. These teams will compete in their inaugural season of the Women's Challange Cup next year. These teams will play the others in their conference on a home and away basis before the play off takes place with the top two teams of each conference play each other in the semi final.
