Yeah i get what you mean with Stone, but he is a grafter. Very good defensively and he clearly has good hands and an untapped skill set. I think the fact we're just completely off form at the minute means he hasn't really had much of a chance to show what he's capable of.Matterson played well, but i need to see more of him to justify his wage.

We have plenty of our own home grown young players to develop.

We are not bad on the youth development system and Holroyd had lots of games before injury. It is a bit of a balancing act with youngsters. We should continue to speak positively about it. Totally agree that you would hope that Quota players should be good enough for a regular first team spot.
