Stuart Jones will quit Castleford at the end of the season after being the fourth player to announce his retirement.
The 30 year-old forward will follow Danny Orr, Ryan Hudson and Nick Youngquest out of the door, although he is expected to take up a part-time playing role in the Championship.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here," he said.
“I’ve had a good job opportunity come up and it is time I started looking towards my future career and this means stepping down from full-time rugby league.
“It has been a good experience at Cas. There’s been a great bunch of lads over the years and the fans are second to none.”
