We're meant to have signed Russell, so it'd be Russell and Lino wouldn't it as Lawford would be back up. Let's be honest ideally, we'd have a couple of places left on the quota to get both.

Great player, absolutely nothing wrong with his defence, baffles me why people think there is, but they did the same to TJ.

However, I happen to know the Hall story, the last bit of gossip I got after falling out of the loop.

I can’t do details but there was way more to it than just getting Dagger in, Hall has or at least had an issue at the time, that’s all I can say, other than it was one we couldn’t take a risk on.

I think Hall is a perfect fit for us, always did, we shall see.

Not sure of the mystery, but the one rumour that I read a few times why we may have wanted to get rid of him, if it's the same one you're alluding to, is supposedly the club had concerns about his head knocks, but at the time I thought people could be reaching and just a rumour.

Who are they? I had a completely different opinion on TJ, he never had anything wrong with his defence, the only thing you could nitpick and it was when he first burst onto the scene was his positioning, which all wingers have to learn.

The TJ defence was just fans of top clubs using it as a stick to suggest he wasn’t the top winger or worthy of an England spot. There was no justification and it was drivel.

His poor fitness and self discipline is why he fell out of favour at Hull KR.

Let's hope we're working on contract talks with him then, quality player.

just read an article about us having plenty of cap space etc and they talked about this, it's probably where you got it from and I hope we are going to keep him but it says we've

Only two off-contract players – Luke Gale and Thomas Doyle – were absent, with the rest of the players in that bracket listed as not yet determined

That sort of signals that he's not going to be kept if he isn't on the undetermined list we've handed out. Hopefully, there's still time for him to play for his contract but it'd be a shame imo.
